Learning Outcomes
The Introduction to North American Studies course presents students with selected aspects of the geography, history, culture and society of the United States and Canada, with the primary focus on developments in the United States. Upon completion of the course, students will have demonstrated knowledge of the fundamentals of North American geography, history, government, and society which serve as the foundation for any substantial further analysis.

Contents
The physical geography of the North American continent, social groups from the era of pre-European contact to the present day, colonial and revolutionary history, organization of government and services, economy and economic history, religion and religious history.

Mode of Delivery
Online teaching in Moodle. The students will receive online materials and assignments every month. Face-to-face teaching is possible depending on the COVID-19 situation.

Grading
